
Grade II listed Yorkshire B&B near Halifax, Bradford, Hebden Bridge, Haworth and Holmfirth. Field House is a small farm with 14 acres of land set in the picturesque Shibden valley, full of charm and character.
We have our own free range eggs from our chickens and grow seasonal produce such as rhubarb, raspberries, blackcurrants and plums which we serve for breakfast as well as delicious locally sourced food. Come and enjoy our log fire in winter or sit and relax in the walled garden in summer.
Facilities include Wi-Fi and plasma TV's in all bedrooms, good safe parking, a quiet country setting and good restaurants and pubs such as the Shibden Mill Inn and Stump Cross Inn, nearby.
Hosts Pat and Geoff Horrocks-Taylor offer guests a warm and friendly welcome to their B&B whether thay are staying for business or pleasure. They are happy to share their extensive local knowledge with guests of places to visit, the many walks that start from the house and opportunities for sports or cultural events. Children love to help feed our animals, visit the nearby Eureka Children's museum or Shibden Park. We are also a pet friendly bed and breakfast.
Parts of the house and barn date back to at least the 1300's, and the B&B combines an olde worlde charm with all modern amenities and comforts.
The farmhouse B&B is situated just one mile from Halifax in the picturesque Shibden Valley, very near to the famous home of Anne Lister, Shibden Hall.
